Overview woven gabions

Woven gabions are often used for erosion control applications. Thanks to their flexibility they can take up  the occurring settlements without losing their stability. Woven gabions are composed out of hexagonal woven mesh panels. The wires are twisted two by two into each other and connected to a heavier selvedge wire. Generally these gabions have a diaphragm panel every 1m. The gabions are delivered partially assembled on site. the contractor finishes the assembly oon site with either lacing wire or C-clips.
